Week of August 22nd-28th

Monday: am: 2.5 easy running w/team.

noon: 6.5 w/Jimmy in Pisgah. Nash out and Back. Upper back still tight.

Tuesday: 2 w/XC team. Nice and easy.

Lifted upper x 2

Wednesday: 8. Nash. Went after it 53 min.

Thursday: 0. Worn out from first day of workshops. Last night of Fun Runs.

Friday: Lifted upperx2.

Saturday: 4.5 in Pisgah w/team. Nice and easy.

Sunday: 1.5 + 3 hill repeats in Pisgah. I wanted to get out after the storm for about 5 miles, but it was still windy. I decided to make it short and hit the big hill up to Horseshoe Parking a few times. 14 minutes total running.

School started on Thursday. Felt like I didn't even run this week. I need more mileage. It will be tough with teaching hitting full swing on Tuesday.

Monday: 0. Practice began today. Planned rest.

Tuesday: 3 w/Jimmy in Friedsam. Pushed in places. Felt great!

pm: 2 easy running w/team.

Wednesday: Lifted upper x 2. Played 1.5 hours of hoops.

Thursday: am: 8 w/Jimmy, Nash Loop. Good run. 54 min.

Friday: 0.

Saturday: 5 w/kids in Pisgah. Drove to Rhody.

Sunday: Drove back from Rhody.

Down week. I ended the week miserably stiff in my upper back. I need to run more and lift more.

weekending 8/14

Monday: 7. Fullam w/Jimmy. Ran at 1:00pm. Weird weather - cool rain showers mixed with oppressive heat and deerflies. Swam in the pond. 43 to go.

Tuesday: 7. Mini-Vistas w/Boj and Jimmy. I was going to zero today, but Boj got me out the door. 36 to go.

Wednesday: 0. Played Hoops. A lot of fun!

Thursday: 3. Fun run. 2.3 in 15:30. 33 to go.

Friday: 8. Nash w/Greg and wolves. Felt decent. 25 to go.

Saturday: am: 4 w/Jimmy in Friedsam.

noon: 8 around Hinsdale after cross country sign-ups. 13 to go.

Sunday: 14 in Pisgah w/Jimmy. Chestnut, Res. down to the swimming spot, ten minutes up the Ridge, Res. home. 1:53. I don't want to say this run was easy, but I sure am getting stronger. Felt good reached 301!

week of August 1st-7th

Monday: 7.5 w/Jimmy in Pisgah (Nash). Tough, hot, deerfly ridden run. I survived. 87 miles to go!

Tuesday: 3.5 w/Jimmy in Friedsam. Almost took a day off. Glad I didn't! 83.5 to go.

Wednesday: Lifted upper x3. Played hoops.

Thursday: 1pm: 9 w/Jimmy. Kilburn Loop +. Tired, heavy legs.

6:30pm: Hinsdale Fun Run. 1 mile -- 6:17. Jogged the 2.3.
4 total. 70.5 to go.

Friday: 0. Hiked up Mount Monadnock with middle school kids. Long day.

Saturday: 7.5 Nash w/Jimmy. Felt decent. 63 to go.

Sunday: 13 Vistas 1:41 w/Jimmy. Not too shabby. 50 to go.

weekending 7/31

Monday: 2 miles in Pisgah w/Jimmy. It poured, so I hammered. This is a humble start to the week, but it's better than my last 2 Mondays. Lifted upper x 3.

Tuesday: 5 miles in Friedsam w/Jimmy. Easy run.

Wednesday: 0 miles. Lifted upper x2. 2 hours of hoops w/team and Boj.

Thursday: 0. Fun Run night.

Friday: am: 7.5 w/Griffin and Jimmy. Nash loop. 59 minutes. Nice and relaxed.

Saturday: am: 5 miles Daniels Mtn via Plain Rd parking w/Jimmy and Griffin. Fun run on tough terrain.

Sunday: 3 w/fartlek. Smooth and quick on the pick-ups. Felt great.

Ok week. I was hoping for about 35 miles. I just didn't get it done. Pressure is on for the next two weeks. I need 95.5 to hit 300.
